Is Lebron James Staying Or Leaving?

The moment the Cleveland Cavaliers ended their season in a disappointing fashion to the Boston Celtics.  We are left to ask this question, is Lebron James staying or leaving?

We know the stories about the older players and the loyalty they had to their teams.  It is safe to say, in this day and age, loyalty goes hand in hand with drug use.  Some people do it and others don’t.  It is no secret that teams haven’t been loyal to their players.  At times, guys won’t even know they are traded until they see their name on breaking news on Espn, or a friend might call and say, “hey, how come you didn’t tell us you were getting traded.” But before I run off topic, let’s get back to Lebron James and the possibility that he is leaving Cleveland. Duke Wins 4th Championship

You can call it a squeaker but Duke pulled the game off and won their 4th championship by beating Butler on Monday night.

Duke beat Butler 61-59 for the national championship Monday night, a win that wasn’t secure until after the buzzer sounded — when Gordon Hayward’s half court, 3-point heave for the win barely missed to leave tiny Butler one cruel basket short of the Hollywood ending.

“We just came up a bounce short,” Butler coach Brad Stevens said.  Coach Mike Krzyzewski said, “First of all, it was a great basketball game. I want to congratulate an amazing Butler team and their fans.”

And we want to congratulate Duke for winning their 4th championship.

Tiger Woods Speaks To Reporters At Augusta

Steelers Not Having A Good Off-Season

Notre Dame Recruit Dies

Matt James a 17-year-old Notre Dame Football recruit was killed in a fall from a fifth-floor hotel balcony during his senior-year spring break in Florida, authorities said Saturday.

The youngster died Friday evening after falling to his death at the Days Inn Motel in Panama Beach.  Panama City Beach police Maj. David Humphreys said, “It appears to be a tragic accident.” Read the rest of this entry »

Adam Schefter: Eagles Trade Donovan Mcnabb

Say it isn’t so, but the most successful Quarterback that ever laced his cleats for the Philadelphia Eagles is now a Washington Redskin.

Adam Schefter is reporting that, the Eagles have unloaded their pro bowl Quarterback to the Redskins.  At the moment, the report doesn’t include what the Eagles got in return, but we would be surprised if a first round pick this year or either next year wasn’t part of the deal. Miami Dolphins Cornerback Will Allen Arrested

The off season is here, which means NFL players currently have too much time on their hands. Will Allen, is the first of many NFL players to get in trouble.

Will Allen was arrested and charged with driving under the influence in Miami Beach.  Allen was arrested Saturday and was being held at the Pretrial Detention Center in Miami on $1,000 bond.

Allen is a nine-year NFL veteran. He missed the final 10 games last season because of a knee injury that required surgery.  Dolphin’s spokesperson declined comments, saying the team only recently learned about the incident.

Vanderbilt’s Top Signee Killed

One of Vanderbilt’s top signee was killed early Thursday morning.  Running back Rajaan Bennett was involved in an apparent murder suicide but he didn’t pull the trigger, his mom’s boyfriend did.

Based on the Atlanta Journal-Constitution who first reported the story on its Web site. Police responded to a 911 call about 2:30 a.m. ET on Thursday from Bennett’s home. When they arrived about four minutes later, they heard gunshots, Powder Springs police Maj. Charles Spann told the Journal-Constitution.

Two people ran from the house following the gunshots, including Bennett’s mother, Narjaketha Bennett, and her brother, Taiwan Hunter, who had been shot. Both were hysterical, police said.  The Cobb County SWAT team was called to the scene, and officers found two people who had been shot and killed inside the home: Bennett, 18, and Clifton O’Neal Steager, 39, who died from a self-inflicted gunshot to the head, according to Powder Springs police Lt. Matt Boyd.

Clifton was the former boyfriend of Bennett’s mom there is currently no word on what made Clifton shoot his ex-girlfriend’s son and also take his own life, but right now his family is in mourning and so is the Vanderbilt program who taught they were going to welcome a new Running Back.
